The Arch Cape Oceanside Escape is an exclusive experience as it is only rented out to 12 sets of guests each year!
The Arch Cape Oceanside Escape, an oceanfront oasis complete with palm trees, leaves no stone unturned, from the river rock pebble inlaid concrete radiant floors to the curved mahogany walls that mimic the waves just steps away. This 3300-square foot, one level authentic natural beauty has it all, inside and out, with an open floor plan and large windows and openings that connect the interior space with the beautiful outdoors. Custom sliding glass doors allow the open floor plan to flow onto an equally generous patio area with views of the forested hills to the east. Expansive windows pull the majestic Pacific Ocean right into the living room and two master bedroom suites.
Clear-grain fir doors and trim, mahogany counters and walls, and open-beamed ceilings make this a one-of-a-kind beach retreat. Buffalo granite counters, high-end stainless gas appliances, three dishwashing drawers, wide hallways, walk-in handicap accessible showers with pebble floors, ramped front entry, outdoor hot and cold water, and professional landscaping will make this luxury beach house an exclusive Oregon coast experience for you and your guests.
Located on the Pacific Ocean just 5 miles south of popular Cannon Beach, this stunning custom-built home is sure to delight your family and friends as you all enjoy a front-row seat to the incredible beauty that the Oregon Coast and Pacific Ocean offer visitors. Designed by Portland, OR, architect Hans Kretschmer of Green Gables, the striking details of the design and the unique elements found throughout the home will make your vacation there one to be remembered for years to come.
Walk into this home and be stunned as you immediately gaze out across the ocean as far as the eye can see. Open the windows and let the ocean breeze tease your face as the sound of the waves becomes the soundtrack to your vacation. Sit on the “ship’s bow” deck, made of Brazilian hardwood (Ipe), enjoy your favorite snack and beverage, or prepare your next meal on the 38” Twin Eagles stainless steel barbeque. You can meander through the professionally landscaped backyard, with only a seawall separating you from the sandy beach, or take the private ramp to the beach to sink your toes in the sand or explore the caves and rock formations around Hug Point just to the north. Be sure to take a moment to relax as you soak in the breathtaking views that surround you.
Its many rooms and incredible views make The Arch Cape Oceanside Escape your ideal choice for family reunions, friends’ getaways, or business retreats. High-speed Wi-Fi, Verizon cellular service extender, wireless printer, large screen TV and Bose sound system will satisfy your entertainment and business needs.

As we were remodeling The House at Arch Cape, we had a hunch it was going to be a special place. Even still, we’ve been overwhelmed (and overjoyed) by the positive response from our guests! Favorite features include the chef-quality kitchen, hillside ocean views, and local art throughout, including a spectacular 10-ft. whale sculpture in the living area. Guests also love Arch Cape itself, which is less crowded than (but easily accessible to) the nearby beach towns of Cannon Beach and Manzanita.
Bring a whole pack of your favorite people—there’s room for 14!—and start collecting memorable moments on the Oregon coast. Multi-generational family reunions, in particular, find the perfect setting here. Begin the day with a sunny pancake breakfast in the state-of-the-art kitchen (with Wolf range, Viking fridge and two Miele dishwashers). Then end it with stargazing on the deck to a soundtrack of the ocean.
In fact, the Pacific is the backdrop for your entire vacation at The House at Arch Cape. Say “hello” to the sea as soon as you step inside—the two-story ocean view through the Great Room windows is one of the best welcomes in the world.
Just to the north is Hug Point State Park with its playground of beach, tide pools, caves, waterfalls and hiking trails to explore.
Back at your beach house, paintings, photographs, sculptures, and wood carvings showcase local talent (and local vistas) and bring the beauty of the area indoors. To complement the art, we used a light coastal color palette and a rich blend of woods, metals and fabrics in the décor.
The ocean views only get better out on the deck, where you’ll find a built-in, covered BBQ grill, prep station, and plenty of seating.
Work retreats find a great setting here, too. Brew a pot of coffee (or use the Keurig) and meet at the huge, rustic-minimalist dining table. You can also make use of the business center, which features a TV monitor with Bose sound for sharing, plus a wireless printer (also great for printing boarding passes). The loft also has a large TV for projecting slides, and feel free to move the furniture around to suit your needs!
