Casual Dining Favorites

  • Café O’lei (Central Maui & Kihei): Whether you’re enjoying dinner at their central location or closer to Kihei, Café O’lei is a favorite for casual dining. It doesn’t matter what entree we choose there, we always finish the evening trying their malasadas for dessert.
  • Paia Fish House (Paia): This fish house is known for its fresh, simply prepared seafood, this local gem is our favorite stop on our way back to the condo. The laid-back vibe makes it a great spot to grab some amazing Mahi fish after a long day of adventure.
  • South Maui Fish Company (Kihei): A food truck that is tucked away and unpretentious, the fish pieces in the fish tacos are twice as big as anywhere else, and the flavor is so fresh. Easily our favorite fish tacos on the island!
  • Da Kitchen (Kihei): Offering wonderful Hawaiian BBQ, Da Kitchen is a local favorite for comforting island classics like Kalua pork and loco moco.

Must-Try Breakfast Spots

  • Gazebo Restaurant (Napili Bay): Famous for their Portuguese fried rice, this cozy breakfast spot offers stunning views of the ocean, making it a must-try for anyone looking to start their day with a hearty meal or refuel after snorkeling at Honolua Bay. And as for the macadamia nut pancakes paired with coconut syrup? Well, you’ll just have to try them to believe the hype—they’re the perfect blend of sweet, nutty goodness that will leave you wanting more.

Sweet Treats & More

  • Sugar Beach Bake Shop (Kihei): Malasadas are a must-try, and we can’t stop eating the ones from Sugar Beach Bake Shop. Grab a few for breakfast or dessert after a day in the sun.
  • Ledoa’s Pies: You don’t think of coming to Maui for pie, but you won’t be able to resist a stop here every time you’re on the island! Mini pies are available so you can create a flight of your own. Who doesn’t want to try all the flavors? Our favorites? Key lime, chocolate peanut butter, and coconut cream.
